Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
Explore Thamel, a vibrant neighborhood known for its shops and restaurants.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara
Take a scenic drive or a short flight to Pokhara.
Enjoy the serene atmosphere by Phewa Lake and explore the Lakeside area.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul, Trek to Ghandruk
Drive to Nayapul and begin the trek.
Trek through picturesque villages and terraced fields to reach Ghandruk.

Day 4: Ghandruk to Chhomrong
Descend to the Kimrong Khola and ascend to Chhomrong.
Chhomrong offers great views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

Day 5: Chhomrong to Bamboo
Descend to the Chhomrong Khola and ascend through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Bamboo.

Day 6: Bamboo to Deurali
Continue through dense forests and cross several streams on the way to Deurali.
The trail offers glimpses of waterfalls and rock formations.

Day 7: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
Ascend through alpine meadows and moraine to reach Annapurna Base Camp.
Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and other peaks.

Day 8: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Descend back to Bamboo, retracing your steps.

Day 9: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Trek to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs.
Relax and soak in the therapeutic hot waters.

Day 10: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul, Drive to Pokhara
Descend to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
Celebrate your successful trek with a meal and rest in Pokhara.

Day 11: Return to Kathmandu
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Take a stroll around Kathmandu Durbar Square or do some last-minute shopping.

Day 12: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for final exploration or shopping.
Depart from Kathmandu for your onward journey.
