The Gokyo valley to EBC trek typically begins with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding then Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a vibrant Sherpa town. From Namche Bazaar the trail diverts towards the Tokyo valley, passing through victorious villages. Trekkers can explore the mesmerizing Gokyo Lakes and nearby villages. There is a hill called Gokyo Ri, with an altitude of 5357m as a view point, from where the trekkers can witness panoramic views of Everest and neighboring peaks. Then the trail move towards through the Cho La Pass, connecting to the regular/main Everest Base Camp trail.
The Everest region is blessed with divers flora and fauna. As the trail situated in the Sagarmatha national park, it is home to hundreds of thousands wildlife and vegetation.
